Private Workshops:
One or two-day workshops can be given in the basics of encaustic painting
at my studio at the City of Novato Arts Center at Hamilton Field,
Novato, California.
These one-on-one sessions are designed to give an overview of the
medium, safety requirements, and the many versatile uses of the medium
,and is comprehensive enough to start you exploring on your own the
multitude of possibilities inherent in this exciting medium. All materials
are furnished. The one day gives the basics in encaustics with no
hands on working time and the two-day will cover all of the above
plus working time to experience the wax. The cost of a one-day private
class is $450, which includes at least 6 hours of instruction and
all materials. The two-day is $850, which also includes all materials
with at least 12 hours of instruction and work time.
